Email Marketing will hit your target better than any other medium, and this is because everyone has an email address. Everyone also has TV’s, radios, and, perhaps, newspapers and magazines. However, most people only have one email address.

However, the television watcher needs to be watching either one of three connected television choices, which are an antenna, cable, or a dish. You have to be target marketing the channel or channels that your prospect is watching. This type of advertising is so out of touch and out of reach for anyone that cannot afford a national, across-the-nation advertising campaigns, similar to those that Coke Cola or Wal-mart can afford.

Additionally, television spends most of its insertion time asking its viewers to visit their websites, because they are aware that in the not so distant future that is where advertising is going anyways.

Radio

First of all, radio, with the exception of satellite radio, has location demographic issues. This is a really big issue for understanding the radio market. Radio may seem great, because it is something that everyone listens to while driving, at home, or in the office. However, radio has a world of competition for your ears.

With satellite, there are two options to choose from, and then there are hundreds of channels to select for your advertising campaign. Additionally, there is a bigger than life competitor: If you are advertising to say 12 to 29 year olds, that age range mostly utilizes the MP3 technology. Their listeners are able to upload to their devices only what they want to hear. Therefore, there would be no advertising.

Again, radio spends most of its insertion time asking us all to visit their websites, because they know that is where the future of affective advertising is headed.

Newspapers and Magazines
The print industry is following the same direction as the television and radio industries. Because subscription rates are lowering each year, advertisers are becoming more aware of the necessity to adjust their marketing endeavors. Subscriptions have been replaced with online content from a variety of places, including the very newspapers and magazines that have been discontinued as well.

The print world is currently going online in the most aggressive efforts that the Internet has ever experienced.
